Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in combat sports. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling before she made her first amateur appearance at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd went on an impressive 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent right in the first round. Ladd returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen a unanimous defeat and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's amateur career. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by one-round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She took the following match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen used the superior abilities she acquired in wrestling to beat McGill. She ended her bout via the TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen continued to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however, Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy by TKO. Her final fight with this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Her UFC debut was in UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with her ground and pound tactics and earned an TKO second round victory. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd defeated Evinger with a punch during the initial round, and earned a Bonus Performance of the Night. The first big fight she fought in was with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. The two fights were a close fight that Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. The two fighters each received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. in the 3rd round on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her recent fight for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. Her loss was a unanimous one.
